On Thursday January 18, one person died after a train collided with their car at Main Street and Garrison Road in the city of Buda. Yvette Bodin and Justin McKeehen had skidded onto the railroad tracks after the Honda she was driving ran a stop sign on FM 2770. Yvette died at the scene and Justin is in critical condition at Brackenridge Hospital.
