Illiopolis, Illinois railroad crossing to be upgraded after fatal collision

With the most recent death of John T. Wright at a crossing in Illinois, the state has decided to upgrade a railroad crossing that has had in the last 15 years four fatalities. The cost to upgrade this crossing will be around $200,000 and was scheduled to start in 2010 but with the death of Wright the construction has been expedited to this year.
